Charity.

My Dearest Barren,

I have something special to talk about in this new year. Charity. For those unfamiliar with the KJV: the word charity is often switched with the word love. In other bible versions you will notice the change. Also in the "archived" definition of charity you will find: 'love of humankind, typically in a Christian context.
"faith, hope, and charity"'

So how does all of this fit with being Barren? Charity relates in many ways to Barren but for now I want to focus on one aspect.

Colossians 3:12-14
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Put on charity, my dearest Barren, to show the world you are different; to show the world Christ in you. With the way things, events, and other happenings are occurring, do you ever wonder if sometimes a person is bitter is because they weren't shown enough charity? "It's not MY place" you may say or "I wasn't the one that offended them". But it is YOUR place and it was YOU that offended them. Don't get it yet? As believers, we are one body. If your left hand stopped working you would be effected by it, would you not? So where does that leave you? Compensating for the loss of your left hand. Through Christ, we are able to compensate for another. This doesn't mean we "bash" another Christian for his/her waywardness. We all come short of the glory of God.(Although we find it all too easy to lay blame to another. That's a different post. I won't digress now.)
What it means is we can apologize for maybe the way a person was treated (or how the person took the offense) by another Christian and either explain further for the accusation or just simply pour charity on them. Our main goal here on Earth is not to judge! It is to win others to Christ. How do you expect to win others when the world is looking for answers and apologizes for which we Christians say, "It wasn't me"and turn our shoulders. We should finish that sentence with, "BUT I'm sorry you were offended. Is there something I can help with?" If we all keep running the same circle we will never progress.
Now my dearest Barren, you of all have to show charity. Why is this?
Barren women who know not Christ will want answers. (We ALL want answers.) But you have the ultimate answer. Jesus who died for her sins just as He did for you. When their science fails and the doctors can't give an explanation; those Barren will either want another answer or blame the other answer. Since we know a 'barren womb will say it is not enough' {Proverbs 30:15-16}; we can offer them the true Comforter and a peace which passes all understanding. There are some groups of people who can't be reach except by those who have walked the same road. (Another example: A recovering drug addict. Maybe you can't relate to what they are going through on a personal level so the recovering will seek out (most likely) someone who can. If you aren't a recovering addict, you won't understand their struggle. It's the same across many different fields and ailments.)
We have a special mission my dearest Barren. We can reach and help a very select group of women and maybe more. It will all start by showing charity.
I think the world could do with a little more charity. Don't you?
